The terms that govern your use of jBot
jBot LLC licenses trading software. The SlingshotNQ strategy runs on your own computer or VPS and connects to your own broker account. jBot provides a web dashboard and mobile apps for monitoring and configuration.
jBot LLC is not registered with the CFTC or NFA as a commodity trading advisor (CTA), commodity pool operator (CPO), futures commission merchant (FCM), or introducing broker, and is not a securities broker-dealer, investment adviser, or custodian.
Your fees are software license fees only.
Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You may lose more than your initial margin. The strategy can and does produce losing trades, and can sustain losses up to and including the total loss of your account. Gaps, limit moves, outages, slippage, or broker liquidation can produce losses larger than any configured stop. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Hypothetical and backtested results have inherent limitations and do not represent actual trading.
Global strategy settings may be updated. When they are, the change is presented to you for approval, and the strategy will not trade on your account under the new configuration until you approve it. Approval is recorded electronically with a timestamp, IP address, and an integrity hash of the exact document shown to you.
Text alerts are optional and off by default. If you opt in, you will receive automated transactional messages about your account — trade alerts and notices that an account agreement requires your signature. We do not send marketing texts.
The software depends on your machine, internet and power, market-data feeds, our servers, and your broker's and the exchange's systems. Outages, disconnections, latency, or failures of any of these can delay, prevent, duplicate, or mis-execute orders — including stop and target orders. jBot is not responsible for any such infrastructure, connectivity, data-feed, platform, broker, or exchange failure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, jBot LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to the software or these terms is limited to the license fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. jBot is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
You may stop using the software at any time. We may suspend or terminate a license for non-payment, misuse, or breach of these terms.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
